Motorcyclist Dies In Philadelphia Accident

A 50-year-old motorcyclist from Philadelphia died on March 19 after he was struck by a Honda Accord on C Street and Wyoming Avenue in Philadelphia, PA. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, the driver of the Honda was tested for substances. The article said that the accident is still under investigation.

A total of 204 people died in 2009 in motorcycle crashes and 184 were the drivers. The National Traffic Highway Safety Administration reported that 1,483 lives were saved when the drivers wore helmets.
